Pillsbury Cookie Countdown

Every day, starting after Thanksgiving, Pillsbury counts down to Christmas by showcasing new cookie recipes through social, web, and email. I developed the Cookie Countdown logo for the previous year. The brand wanted to continue using the playful logo for the following year. To give the campaign a new feel, we paired the logo with new photography. I organized a shot list and art directed the hero image and promotional photography, which included new and old cookie recipes running in the campaign. I had the chance to introduce my illustration skills by designing a cookie pattern that became part of the overall creative. Once an established look and feel was determined, I produced each asset for the campaign.

Instagram

Part of promoting the campaign, we planned photography assets specifically for gif creation. We displayed the cookies in a square-like pattern and removed each cookie per photo. Each frame is a separate image stitched together, grabbing the viewers attention as they scroll through their feed.
